    Vox. Ini kata bahasa Latin, artinya suara. Dalam pemilihan umum, pemilu, suara dikumpulkan melalui pencoblosan surat suara oleh tiap orang satu surat suara. Maka, satu orang satu suara. Ini yang lazim disebut ‘vox populi‘, suara rakyat. Ini benar-benar suara rakyat. Mulai tidak benar itu waktu ditambah dua kata, ‘Vox Dei‘ artinya, Suara Allah. Lebih tidak benar lagi kalau suara yang terkumpul di kotak suara waktu pemilu disebut ‘vox populi vox Dei‘. Lucu. Suara rakyat itu disebut suara Allah. Berarti suara itu kudus, karena dari Allah, untuk calon tertentu. Lalu calon itu terpilih, dia berbangga bahwa dia terpilih karena ‘suara Allah’. Lalu yang tidak terpilih karena jumlah suara tidak mencukupi, berarti ‘suara Allah’ tidak cukup, kurang?

    Vox. Suara itu kehendak dari Nafsu seseorang yang memberi suara kepada seorang calon. Suara itu berdasarkan pertimbangan  Nalar seseorang pemilih. Dia beri suara karena ada Naluri yang cocok dengan pribadi calon. Nurani pemberi suara itu tenang karena sudah memberikan suara kepada calon pujaannya. Kerjasama empat unsur dalam diri manusia, Nafsu + Nalar + Naluri + Nurani ini menghasilkan satu suara dari seseorang untuk seseorang. Ini sama sekali bukan suara Allah. Ini murni suara pribadi manusia yang dengan bebas atau tidak bebas (kalau tertipu) memberikan suara kepada sang calon. (4N, Kwadran Bele, 2011).

    Vox. Suara yang dibeli dengan uang, suara Allah? Suara yang terhimpun dengan umbar janji kosong sang calon. Suara Allah? Ini murni suara rakyat dalam sistem yang disepakati untuk pemilihan calon legislatif atau eksekutif pada periode waktu tertentu, lima tahunan. Herannya ada anggapan, sang calon yang terpilih dengan pengumpulan suara terbanyak mengganggap itu kehendak Allah. Berarti Allah campur tangan untuk memilih seseorang dalam posisi tertentu, menjadi anggota legislatif atau eksekutif, kepada daerah atau presiden dan wakil presiden. Salah kaprah. Pemilihan umum itu perebutan suara. Perebutan itu tidak mungkin atas amanat Allah. Itu murni kehendak bebas dari manusia yang berkenan pada Allah kalau dilaksanakan dengan jujur dan adil, sebaliknya tidak berkenan pada Allah kalau perebutan suara itu dengan cara-cara kotor, penipuan dan persekongkolan jahat.

    Vox. Kalau vox, suara itu sudah diperoleh dan seseorang menduduki kursi sebagai hasil penghimpunan suara, langsung kewajiban si pemenang itu untuk melaksanakan segala tugas dan wewenang sesuai dengan kehendak Allah, jujur dan adil. Itu saja. Jadi bukan Allah Yang pilih, bukan Allah yang suruh duduk di kursi ini atau itu. Kursi itu direbut dan diduduki untuk melayani sesama, mengabdi Allah. Dengan itu si-pemenang senang (hasil Nafsu), gembira (hasil Nalar), puas (hasil Naluri), bahagia (hasil Nurani). Perpaduan empat hasil ini: senang + gembira + puas + bahagia, menjadi tujuan hidup setiap manusia baik di dunia ini maupun di akhirat.

  • HP

    HP. Handphone. Telepon genggam. HP saya artikan dengan istilah, Hati Putih. HP jadi alat, sarana untuk sebarkan isi Hati Putih. Semua serba putih, dalam arti, bersih,  jernih, menyegarkan diri dan sesama. Dalam diri kita setiap pribadi, ada empat unsur itu: NAFSU + NALAR +  NALURI + NURANI. (4N, Kwadran Bele, 2011).  Empat unsur ini harus sama-sama putih baru hasilnya putih. Kalau salah satunya, hitam, kotor, empat-empatnya tercemar sehingga diri pribadi jadi kotor, tidak putih lagi.

    HP. Lewat sarana ini, tersebar getar Hati Putih yang membuat hati yang lain turut putih. Nafsu menyebarkan isi hati, selalu membuat diri kita tidak tenang sebelum isi hati itu dicurahkan. Senang sesudah terungkap kepada sesama. Nalar menggebu-gebu mencari rumus yang tepat untuk menampilkan isi hati putih dengan cara yang tepat. Hasilnya gembira. Naluri membuat diri kita sibuk utak-atik HP menjangkau kerabat kenalan jauh dekat sebar berita putih dari hati putih. Nurani jadi tenang sesudah isi hati putih disambut dan dibalas dengan hati yang putih pula. Ini tujuan si-penemu alat yang satu ini, hp.

    HP. Tujuan baik,  pakai hp dari hati putih, hasilnya dunia ini ramai, damai, ria, teduh, tenang, aman, tenteram. Mengapa hp disalah-gunakan untuk gembar-gembor berita miring iris hati cincang hati berkeping-keping? Puaskah sipenyebar? Hp kirim dan terima khabar kasar penuh amarah dari hati yang kelam tenggelamkan segala rindu dan harap akan sejuknya bathin. Ini yang sering terjadi. Sebar berita amarah dan dengki akan terus berlanjut? Akan membudaya? Kita manusia meracuni diri, hati hancur lebur, dari putih ke kelam, gelap gulita.

    HP. Ini alat kurnia TUHAN lewat daya Nafsu + Nalar + Naluri + Nurani dari para penemu, perancang dan perakit, yang kemudian dilempar ke pasar lalu digenggam oleh setiap tangan kecil-besar, lembut-kasar dari lebih separuh penduduk dunia sekarang ini.

    TUHAN mau kita sebar khabar putih penuh kasih  dari hati putih antar sesama. Itulah tujuaHP, Handhone, Telpon genggam

  • Pilih

    Pilih. Hidup ini pilih. Pilih ini atau itu. Tidak bisa genggam semua. Dua telapak tangan tidak mampu untuk genggam sekarung jagung. Pilih dan cuma ambil satu genggam atau dua genggam kalau dengan dua tangan. Terbatas. Pilih dari sekian banyak. Ada pemilih ada pilihan, ada yang dipilih ada yang tidak dipilih. Dalam politik ada pemilihan umum. Dalam hidup sehari-hari, ada pilihan yang dahulu dan yang kemudian. Tempat dipilih. Mau di sini atau di sana. Waktu juga dipilih. Hari ini atau esok. Orang pun dipilih. Berkawan dengan dia ini atau dia itu. Berkawan dengan semua, itu harus. Tetapi harus pilih salah satu. Berkawan akrab sama akrab dengan dua orang sekaligus, tidak mungkin. Pasti ada satu yang lebih akrab. Inilah pilihan.

    Pilih. NAFSU dalam diri kita mendorong kita untuk pilih ini atau itu. NALAR kita memberikan pertimbangan untuk jatuhkan pilihan untuk yang ini bukan itu. Dalam diri kita ada  NALURI yang mempengaruhi sampai kita pilih ini sebagai yang terbaik menurut kita. Dalam NURANI selalu ada dorongan untuk memberikan pujian kalau kita pilih yang benar dan beri teguran kepada kita kalau kita salah pilih. Inilah kerjasama antara empat unsur dalam diri kita dalam aksi pilih. (4N, Kwadran Bele, 2011).

    Pilih. Pilih yang baik. Mana pilih yang buruk. Kegiatan pilih memilih yang dikendali oleh 4N dalam diri kita membuat kita manusia segar setiap saat dari peristiwa ke peristiwa. Kita tidak terpaku pada satu keadaan. Terus berubah dan itulah pilihan. Berubah karena kita berubah. Berubah bukan karena orang yang ubah kita. Tidak. Kitalah yang ubah sehingga berubah. Inilah hasil dari pilih. Hari ini pilih makan ini, besok makan itu. Hari ini belajar ini dan besok belajar yang lain. Terus pilih dan pilih. Jadilah pilihan yang membuat diri kita terpilih untuk apa saja yang tidak sama dengan orang lain.

    Setiap kita adalah pribadi pilihan TUHAN. Karena pilihan TUHAN, maka dengan sendirinya setiap kita itu orang kesayangan TUHAN. Saat kita menutup mata untuk terakhir kalinya, itulah saat kita dipilih TUHAN untuk bersatu abadi dengan DIRINYA.
